Lay system loadout
In October 2008 EnShip were requested to assist a major marine energy service company collect 227mt of equipment from a fabrication shop on Teeside, UK. EnShip were tasked with receiving the equipment from transport and co-ordinating all waterborne activities right through to delivery in Kakinada, India. The principal activities included the hire of a 1000t crane, the charter of a tug and barge and the charter of a heavylift vessel. Due to the importance of the newly fabricated Pipelay Ramp Assembly, and its constituent parts, it was imperitive that the cargo was handled and shipped with great care. In order to guarantee the very best service, EnShip positioned a dedicated logistics co-ordinator on-site for the loadout. Moreover, all seafastening calculations and loading reports were generated through EnShip. |

Batu Hijau, Indonesia
As part of a long standing relationship with a leading subsea services contractor, EnShip were heavily involved in supporting one of the world's largest mining companies with some urgent maintenance works. Based in Perth, Australia the project required 24hr cover for all logistical issues. EnShip successfully managed the requirement through solid mangement in Aberdeen, UK and by positioning 2 Remote Logistics Co-ordinators on-site in Indonesia (working 4on 4off from the UK). Moreover, EnShip also had a logistics lead working in-house with the client, co-ordinating all of their vessel, freight, personnel and materials requirements. Due to unforseen circumstances, EnShip were also involved in the urgent drydocking of the project's lead vessel in Singapore. EnShip on-site personnel played a key role in ensuring that the docking went smoothly and that the vessel could return to the worksite as quickly as possible. |

Northern Mariner, PLGR
In preparation for a pipelay workscope EnShip were asked to charter a vessel that a Pre-Lay Grapple Run (PLGR) could be carried out from. The job was to trawl an area between Denmark and Iceland. EnShip chartered the Northern Mariner for the job which ran for over 110 days. In addition EnShip were responsible for the modifications carried out to the vessel for the overboarding of the grapples as well as the sourcing of the tow winch. The mobilisation and demobilisation were carried out in Aberdeen but there were also interim portcalls in Norway, Denmark, Iceland and the Faroe Islands all of which were facilitated by EnShip. During the project EnShip was also responsible for the bunkering of the vessel in Aberdeen, Norway and Denmark. |

Lay Spread
On behalf of a major client with offices in Singapore and Australia,
EnShip was asked to inspect a newly manufactured lay spread in Delft,
Holland and ascertain its suitability for shipping. Once
inspected, EnShip proceeded with the transportation of the spread to
Beverwijk, Holland where it was stored for a short time before being
loaded out on the Havila Harmony, which had just been
delivered in Norway after a serious upgrade. Sailing in
ballast to Singapore, EnShip organised the port call for
the vessel so that the spread could be collected.
Subsequently, EnShip also managed the transit of the vessel through the
Suez Canal. |

Logistics Support inc DSV Charter & 1200T Crane
As part of an on-going Logistics Support Role, EnShip chartered the
Skandi Inspector for a 30 day North Sea campaign. As part of this
workscope EnShip supplied a 1200T Superlift Truck Mounted Crane to
undertake a number of heavy lifts for the Petro-Canada Saxon Project. |

Transportation of Offshore Windfarm project equipment:
We were tasked with delivering project related equipment from UK to
Naples in a time critical manner by air, road and sea to ensure no
vessel lost time was incurred. |

West African logistics support:
Successful completion of 14 months project logistics support role for
Technip Offshore UK Ltd, on the Baobab Project, offshore Cote D’Ivoir,
West Africa.
This included management and tracking of all project related equipment
from Europe, Scandinavia and UK to West Africa.
Additionally EnShip Ltd supplied personnel in-country to co-ordinate vessel and equipment movement. |

Antonov AN124 Charter:
EnShip personnel responsible for arranging the charter and mobilisation
of Antonov AN124 loading from RAF Kinloss with 60 Tonne of steel
structure and oilfield equipment bound for West Africa.
A second aircraft charter was also successfully loaded out from
Prestwick complete with full Triton XL ROV system with total weight in
excess of 100 Tonnes. EnShip personnel also in attendance in West
Africa to demobilise aircraft |

Major Project Synergy:
Tasked with creating a synergy between the Baobab project, West Africa
and White Rose project, Newfoundland, EnShip was responsible for
liaising with both projects to ensure the positioning and handover of
vessel as well as cross hire of equipment went smoothly and in a timely
manner.
EnShip personnel attended St Johns, Newfoundland to oversee the demobilisation and cross hiring of equipment. |
Logistics Support for North Sea 6 Project:
EnShip personnel utilised in-house to plan and assist with the regular
port calls of a Supply Vessel and ROV Support Vessel into the
East coast of the UK from Immingham to the Shetland Isles. There were 6
projects running simultaneously and each portcall was time critical. |

Logistics Support for Prestige Oil Recovery Project offshore Spain:
This role was based in both Aberdeen and Vigo, Spain and EnShip
personnel were responsible for the procurement and transport of all
requirements for the two large vessels working in the area. This
included the management of the local agent and working as a liaison
between the vessel and shore based support services. This project also
included on-site attendance in Stavanger for the demobilisation of the
FPSO used in the project. |
Project Planning, Logistics Support and Suez Canal Brokerage for Dolphin Project in Qatar/UAE:
EnShip were contracted to provide a Logistics Coordinator for the
commencement of a new project in a client’s office. The role began with
the planning of the project, investigating the local ports and their
suitability, then costing portcalls and the operational services the
project would require.
There was also the need to broker the passage of a work vessel c/w ROV
system through the Suez Canal. This involved being on the ground in
Egypt to manage a short portcall and ensuring the transit went smoothly.
The logistics support role covered the shipping and procurement of
essential project items for the vessel in each of its mobilisation
locations. |

Preparation of Umbilical Installation Reel and Shipping for longterm workscope:
EnShip have made an addition to their service provision and can now
offer the hire of Umbilical Installation Reels. At present we have
Installation Reel on a long-term hire to a client in the US. |
